TEKAS Conference (Technical Conference for Car Mechanics) was held on Saturday, 16th of March 2019, in Belgrade. The conference brought together more than 700 mechanics from the territory of Serbia who had the opportunity to hear lectures by domestic and international experts from the automotive industry.
With the organization of this event, Ferdinand Bilstein South East Europe wanted to support the mechanics in Serbia and to enable them to be educated in accordance with current trends in the automotive industry so they could modernize and improve their business.
Participants had the opportunity to hear attractive lectures by technical experts from Great Britain, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Serbia.
The main topics were advanced diagnostics, new technologies in the automotive industry and digitization.
Lectures about advanced diagnostic were held on the following subjects CAN and Flex Ray Communication, Vibration Analysis on Vehicles and Logging and Multi-test as the Best Diagnostic Strategy. New technologies in the automotive industry were presented with ADAS Systems for Advanced Driver Assistance and Lidar Technology for Autonomous Driving. Participant’s attention was especially attracted by the following topic Digitization impact on the changing behavior of customers in the automotive industry.
Beside interesting topics and educational lectures, for the first time in Serbia, mechanics had the opportunity to gather in one place where they could exchange experience and expand their professional network.
